Some instruments are built. Others are discovered. The Deguello was waiting beneath generations of footsteps before it was ever heard again.
Imagine playing a guitar whose top once echoed with two-stepping boots and fiddle strings… and whose back comes from deep in the soul of the American South. This isn’t just an instrument—it’s living history.
The top of this one-of-a-kind beauty is from the dance floor of an old Texas roadhouse, complete with a bullet hole. This top once lay beneath generations of dancers in an old Texas honky-tonk. It's soaked in decades of country music, boots, and stories of old.
The back is cut from Swamp Ash from the Mighty Mississippi River—lightweight, resonant, and full of that Southern mojo. The neck is shaped from Cocobolo, and the fret markers are none other than bullet casings. The pick guard is made from beautifully embossed leather.
From Texas dance floors to the muddy banks of the Mississippi—the Deguello is what it sounds like when stories become sound.
